Riverdale Country School is a Pre-k through 12th grade independent school located in the Bronx. Their philosophy stems from a belief that the future belongs to those who adapt to new situations, ask good questions, try new ideas and work well with others.

The school recently invested in a new 23,000 sf classroom building that includes a black-box theatre, commercial kitchen and cafeteria. A new aquatic center for recreational and competition events was built and a fifty year old athletic facility was renovated, which includes a new training gym, and a varsity gym acoustically enhanced to allow for assemblies as well as mechanical and system upgrades.

UPC was engaged to provide owners representative services for all three projects. UPC's role included coordination between two architectural teams, the construction manager, and multiple specialty subcontractors. Each project had unique complicated conditions including a one-year demolition and replacement time frame for the classroom building, deep foundations required under the aquatic center, and a steep slope condition at the site of the athletic facility.
